Online CPR Course

In-Person CPR Training

Visit us at one of our Sydney locations for face-to-face training about the essentials of CPR, how to identify and assist a casualty, how to follow DRS ABCD including the use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and much more

Demonstrate your new Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation skills on one Adult & one Infant Manikin in a safely simulated emergency setting, following the principles and techniques you’ve learned during the course

HLTAID009 is valid for 12 months from the date of course completion, and is recommended annually to keep certification and knowledge current

HLTAID009 Course Overview

Students completing this course will gain the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines.

This course applies to all people who are responsible for the safety of others and may be required to provide CPR at short notice, in community and workplace settings.

What time does the course run?

The course runs in the morning, beginning around 8:00AM

What do I need to bring?

Bring your ID (such as a NSW Drivers Licence, Passport, Medicare Card), a black or blue ballpoint pen, and comfortable practical clothing

Can I complete the certification entirely online?

The certification requires in-person physical assessment of your skills and cannot be completed entirely online – but it does save a lot of time to do the study first!

This course has no pre-requisite CPR knowledge requirements.

All e-learning and theory assessment must be completed before attending the course in person.

Participants must be physically able to perform at least 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the floor (to simulate a real casualty), and to lift and manipulate the training dummy.

All training and assessment will be done in English, requiring basic levels of reading, writing, and language ability. Please contact us if you have any concerns.

Upon completion of this course, the following unit(s) will be issued by ABC Licence Training Pty LTD – RTO 3399
